These are a few of our Favorite Things

The thing I am going to miss most about New England is fall.  We have seen seriously some of the most beautiful and breathtaking scenery I have ever seen. I am loving every minute of it!

 Walden Ponds
We came here early in September. The weather was warm and the water was really warm. The kids loved swimming.

 Apple Picking
The kids and I have already been apple picking 3 times. It is such a charming, fun thing to do. The warm, fresh apple cider donuts and apple cider are to die for!
Dad came with us this time

Kate and one of her best friends and upstairs neighbor, Lily.

Kate is COMPLETELY obsessed with having long hair. She wears her bath towel everywhere we go. It is killing me! I never knew that it could be so incredible hard to get Kate to wear clothes and do her hair. Most days I loss.

Cole is getting into everything now days. He his taking steps and making messes everywhere.
But seriously, he smiles and melts my heart.

 Baths
We usually take at least 2 baths a day. It is a good 30 minutes worth of entertainmnent
 Our park
Kate has learned to pump on the swing all by herself and she loves it!

Leaves, I love it so much!

This weekend was Columbus Day weekend. We headed up to do some leaf peeping with our good friends the Cooks.
Unfortunately, it wasn't the best weather, but we still got some good pictures.
1st stop, Stowe, VT
A darling little skiing town.
We stopped at the cider mill and got some cider donuts and watched how cider is made. I had no idea that that cider was such a process.

At the end of the day the heavens parted and we got some blue skies. We got some great pictures. more to come!

Smugglers Notch the most amazing drive through the mountains. It was breathtaking!

 Joseph Smith Birth Place Memorial
Sharon, VT
What a beautiful memorial.
