We had visitors coming in and out pretty much the entire month of October. It was so much fun! We loved it! By the end of the month we went to all the historical sites 3 or 4 times. Kate still says that she never wants to go back to the Old North Bridge.

The thing I am going to miss most about New England is fall. We have seen seriously some of the most beautiful and breathtaking scenery I have ever seen. I am loving every minute of it!
We came here early in September. The weather was warm and the water was really warm. The kids loved swimming.
The kids and I have already been apple picking 3 times. It is such a charming, fun thing to do. The warm, fresh apple cider donuts and apple cider are to die for!

Kate and one of her best friends and upstairs neighbor, Lily.
Kate is COMPLETELY obsessed with having long hair. She wears her bath towel everywhere we go. It is killing me! I never knew that it could be so incredible hard to get Kate to wear clothes and do her hair. Most days I loss.
Cole is getting into everything now days. He his taking steps and making messes everywhere.
But seriously, he smiles and melts my heart.
We usually take at least 2 baths a day. It is a good 30 minutes worth of entertainmnent
Kate has learned to pump on the swing all by herself and she loves it!

This weekend was Columbus Day weekend. We headed up to do some leaf peeping with our good friends the Cooks.
Unfortunately, it wasn't the best weather, but we still got some good pictures.
1st stop, Stowe, VT
A darling little skiing town.
We stopped at the cider mill and got some cider donuts and watched how cider is made. I had no idea that that cider was such a process.
At the end of the day the heavens parted and we got some blue skies. We got some great pictures. more to come!
Smugglers Notch the most amazing drive through the mountains. It was breathtaking!
